VICA’s Healthcare Committee focuses on the relationship among employers, the health insurance industry, and hospitals. The committee reviews major state and federal healthcare legislation, including measures affecting employer-sponsored coverage, the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and medical litigation.

Meetings feature leaders from government agencies, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit partners who provide timely updates on public-health policy, healthcare financing, insurance coverage, workforce challenges, and other issues affecting the regional healthcare landscape.
