VICA’s EEMU Committee provides guidance on manufacturing, environmental regulation, utility ratepayer protection, and public investment in clean and green technology. Its work supports the interests of local and regional public and investor-owned utilities, as well as the telecommunications and manufacturing industries.
Meetings examine legislation, regulations, and infrastructure initiatives affecting energy reliability, water resources, waste and recycling, air quality, clean-energy investments, utility costs, and long-term sustainability planning. Members engage directly with agency representatives, utility providers, industry experts, and policymakers to identify practical, business-focused solutions for the Los Angeles region.
